1. Replace the stock 2-barrel carb. with a 4-barrel carb., which will also require a new intake manifold. Any recommendations for what type of carb./intake to get and where to obtain them?
2. Install an HEI electronic ignition and get rid of the points system? Is there an HEI set-up anyone is using that is working well with a 307 V8? What's a good source to obtain one?
*Another thing I might do is replace the read main motor seal, which seems to be very wet and I don't think it's been replaced in a long time.....is this something I should let the shop do and if so, what is a fair price for this?
