I'm looking for wing window assemblies for a 65 G10. I took a stab at rebuilding mine and it didn't work as well as I hoped. Is there a repro part for these? Thanks!

I got a bit over-ambitious and tried to change out the window track portion of the assembly. The felt in the track was completely gone. I bought some new track that *seemed* correct and redid all the riveting. It seemed to come out OK, but the dimensions are off so the wing windows don't close.

Did you just replace the wing window seal? Or did you find a way to repair the track also?

I replaced both the main window seal & the felt track (or channel run as GM called it). With the new seal, the windows really don't like to seat that well. You do have to force them a bit.

How did you replace the channel run? It looked like you had to replace the entire track on a Gen 1, but could replace the insert on a Gen 2.

Mine are so messed up that I want to pick up a couple more and try refurbing those.
