This morning I shopped for $15k of "Agreed Value" coverage:
Grundy wasn't interested because I have OTHER VEHICLES I park outdoors
Heacock wasn't interested because it's a van
Hagerty gave me a quote of $379 a year and probably would have wanted details and pictures
My other vehicles are insured with Safeco, so I called them for a quote on conventional coverage as a baseline, but asked about "agreed value" coverage and was surprised to learn that they could bind $15k of agreed value coverage TODAY without any further "hoop jumping" for only $232 per year
I've heard that State Farm will also do "agreed value" for longtime customers that ask...
My point here is that you should at least ask the current insurer of your other vehicles about this coverage because you can get a much better "multi-car rate if they offer the agreed value coverage....
Grundy, Hagerty, and Heacock were alone in the field of agreed value collector car insurance at one time, but that time has passed!
