That's the shifter cable, isn't it?
I crushed a new one when working on mine because I did not pay attention to proper routing - and it hit the exhaust - done. That WAS very pricy.
Maybe you have some shop around you who can make something? I mean, it's just a bowden-cable with some specials at the end...

It’s a 1965 with 727. Mine has shifter cable and park cable. Park cable broke where it connects to the shifter.. rest of the cable is good.. thanks I’ll keep digging.

anyone every attempt “repairing” one.. mine broke right behind the shifter.. so I was thinking to connect a new eye terminal with some ferrules and extra aircraft cable…the important end with the transmission fitting is still solid and does not leak…
