My truck is an original 6 cylinder model and I’ve given consideration to installing a V8. Are the frame mounts different for a V8 truck than the mounts for a 6 cylinder? If so, does anyone have a pair they’d like to part with?

Re: V8 frame mounts
steve scott in ohio has the mounts your looking for
if you are considering the swap you will also need
the engine to motor mount brackets
new aluminum rad, with a shroud.
maybe a electric fan
belly ban if yours is missing
you should consider up dating your engine wiring,
electronic ignition system
a 2 field alternator
a electronic voltage regulator as well
i will send you Steve's # in a pm. i don't post phone #1s to the public.
hope this helps.

Re: V8 frame mounts
My truck is currently sitting totally naked 3’ in the air on pipe welding stands. I have a new wiring harness. I just installed a power steering assist from a Saturn Vue. Over the winter I swapped the solid Ibeam axle for IFS and put parallel 4 link suspension in the rear. Installing a V8 shouldn’t be that much more difficult. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
