What are they for?

On a van, on the back and side doors there are two holes with threads. They are in the lower right corner just below where the hinge is on the inside of the door. They are horizontal and are 7/8 of an inch apart. What are they for?

On the inside of the van about the same level as the door holes are two holes that are the same distance apart as a bracket for the front doors limiting strap.

Was there a door bracket for a limiting strap for the side and rear doors that was an option? If so I am not sure how it would work  as the door's holes are too close together and in the wrong (vertical) plaine.

The door holes that I am talking about are at the very bottom of the door and are only 7/8 inch apart.

Oh... Thanks, I could not figure out what they were for.

It makes sense thad Dodge would put the holes on all the doors in case someone ordered that option.
