I have a 1970 ford E200 with a 300 I6 in it. Just wondering how much they are worth in good condition???

You might get an answer here, but this forum is for 1961-1967 Econolines. There are better forums for you owners of the newer Econolines.

The second generation Econoline's are not as popular as the first or third generations but they can still bring a decent price. Your value would depend on the options it has. Automatic, A/C, (which became available in the second generation vans), trim package, etc, etc. An unrestored base model 1970 could bring between 2000.00 to 4000.00 depending on its condition.

I love the snub nosed second gens. They are highly under valued.

Re: 70 Ford E200
I will most certainly agree that they are under valued and there are many reasons why. The main reason is that there are very few companies that make restoration parts for them. First generations shared its entire mechanicals with the Ford Falcon. And third generations shared a lot of their mechanicals with the F-Series pickups. The poor 2nd generations were the odd man out and shared very little with other production model Fords and due to the snub nose had quite a few specialty parts under the hood that were not shared with other production model Fords. And they are uncomfortable getting in and out of and on long trips. Basically not enough leg room, especially on the passenger side. They are neat looking but not as much fun to drive as the 1st and 3rd generations.

Re: 70 Ford E200
ill agree with most of what you said. but driving a 2nd gen compared to a 1st is not even close. with the twin i beam, power steering, air you felt like you was driving a caddy, instead of a hay wagon. i drove both alot.

Re: 70 Ford E200
Lol. I will agree that the ride in a 2nd generation is more civilized than a 1st generation but they didn’t do much for legroom until the third generation. And getting in and out is much easier with the 1st and 3rd generations. It may also be because at 6’4” and 230 lbs many cars and some trucks are a bit tight for me to get in and out of. Lol
