After much discussion between the NATS Board and Twin City Vans, we have come to the conclusion that the most responsible decision is to postpone the 48th Van Nationals until July of 2021.
The residents of Minnesota are on a stay at home order which was extended yet again today until May 18th and the peak of the virus is said to be in June to mid July. All major gatherings in Minnesota have been cancelled or postponed. As of now, large group gatherings are not allowed and based on press updates from our governor, large group gatherings will be one of the last things lifted from our restrictions.
Many of our host group support team have stated that they cannot in good conscience attend this year to protect themselves and loved ones from the COVID-19. We have heard from other vanners that are afraid of getting the virus if they attend the event.
Twin City Vans is proud to host the 48th Van Nationals in Minnesota. We are able to hold our site at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds for 2021, and other advanced reservations are being honored. Also, if you have pre-registered for the 2020 Nats it will be honored in 2021.
Everyone stay safe and get ready for one hell of a party in 2021! We will see you at the 48th Van Nationals in 2021 in Albert Lea, MN.
Rescheduled to 7-11 July 2021 same location
