    He was the best at his craft... really looked like whatever he painted was on fire! RIP

    Oh, bummer! He came up with something everyone else missed. Flames had been airbrushed on cars for decades before he developed his method for painting realistic flames. And when you see how it’s done, it’s not super difficult. Kind of like when Eddie Van Halen ushered in a new way to play the electric guitar!

    I saw a video of Mike demonstrating his technique. He was a real nice, modest, down to earth guy.
