    Busted Junk Empty Busted Junk

I crawled under the van to check out something else and discovered a busted sway bar link on the driver's side.  Amazingly I later found the broken off pieces were laying in the street outside my house.  I showed the broken bolt to Donivan and he pointed out it was not a Grade 8 bolt suitable for a suspension part.  I wasn't able to locally source a replacement bolt but I found the following repair kit at NAPA with the correct bolt and sleeve length for my 1st Gen.  Pricey, but Made in USA high quality.  Only took a half hour or so to replace both sides.

Yes the bolts in the kit are grade 5 or better. A lot stronger than that Grade 2 threaded rod that was there. No wonder it broke.
