I have a opportunity to pickup a 292 cid to put in my first gen 64’ g-10. What issues will I run into and how to fix those problems.
I would purchase any parts needed to do the job
    Thanks for your time guys.

it is 1 3/4" taller so either drop the crossmember down or modify air filter and/or lid. passenger motor mount is where the stock fuel pump is so easiest to just run an electric pump and fab a bracket for the mount. sure there are a few smaller things I forgot but 'mostly' just bolt in.

Swap from 250 to 292 passenger side motor mount fab made easy. I found this motor mount from 12Bolt
    SKU 292steelmount

for $50 bucks, I would of gone that way too! what I made was the exact opposite, v8 mount bolted to motor and fabbed a bracket to adapt to crossmember. if you kept the stock mounts, all you need is 1/4' plate with 3 holes drilled to bolt to the motor and 3 more where the mount would be on the 250. as simple as that would be, $50.00 and done is easier!
