If anyone is looking for an early econoline belly pan...Matchstick Customs is making new ones. I paid $350, primed and delivered. They bolt right into place using original holes. I believe they are 18ga steel - check with Matchstick for specifics. He is aware of the mods required for different engines and transmission set-ups. Louvers have been added to better direct airflow to the radiator. Matchstick can be reached via email at customvanner@gmail.com.

That's great news! Every van needs one or they overheat. Often they are missing when you buy a van

Re: Newly Manufactured Belly Pan
Hey Jacke! Great to see that you got it installed. Thanks for order. Let me know how it goes with the cooling. I'd be interested to hear if the results are quantifiable.
If anyone needs a belly pan, floor pans, patch panels for windows, roof vent patches etc. please contact me. I should be able to help reproduce hard to find pieces of the puzzle.

Re: Newly Manufactured Belly Pan
Will this pan fit any year? I know there were at least 2 different pans and then there are the little asbestos lined wing pans to. No one ever talks about those.

Re: Newly Manufactured Belly Pan
Yes I designed it as a universal pan. Because they are quite labor intensive to make any additional shapes would make this a considerably more expensive piece to make. Although there are clearances for shift rods in later pans as well as other differences, no one has yet reported an issue with this design. There are around 12 -15 pans out there now and I believe all are currently installed. For the sake of everyone's budget we're going to keep working from this "universal" angle. It is obviously not a restoration replica however it is a very functional piece. If someone wanted a pan exactly like a certain factory style I would build it but it would be a custom price and would tip the scale around $550. The bolt holes are factory mounts. I did omit the mount that runs halfway up the incline of the pan. I think it's overkill. I will include 5/16 - 18 weld nuts if someone wanted to ditch the J clips and go to a more permanent system for this frequently removed piece of equipment.
