Re: Chrysler sold to Fiat
Very sad indeed! Our local dealership has been selling Ford and Chrysler for 50 years. He is hoping he makes it with just Fords, me to! Tough times!

Re: Chrysler sold to Fiat
the once great american auto industry is just about gone, soon our liberal government will turn their eyes to taking our vintage vans and cars from us. they will probably pass laws where you won't be able to register them, it will be at that point mine will become lawn ordaments, and if they come after it they better bring a big stick....

Re: Chrysler sold to Fiat
Didn't Fiat build cars in the U.S. 20 years before there was a Chysler? There is a guy that brings a big 1908 Chain drive Fiat to the local car tour, it was built in New York, has a 4 cyl. engine that is over 1000 cubic inches. He could put my Fiat in his tool box. There is an old Chysler dealer that is one of the ones that is getting shut down near here Bollingers in Lakeview Michigan been going since 1914. Where am i going to get parts for my A-100 now?

Re: Chrysler sold to Fiat
most dealers don't have any parts anyways. turn over every rock and dig deep to find what parts are out there. by the side markers is your truck a 70 or were they added later on.

Re: Chrysler sold to Fiat
I think my brother cleaned out all the old" car" parts at Bollingers. They were the oldest dodge dealer in Michigan. Our family had been buying vehichles from them since the early 70's. Im gonna miss them alot.

Re: Chrysler sold to Fiat
My notes Dodge made only 559 A-100 pickups, Lowest production year. Doesnt sound right to me, eleven trucks per state?! Mabee these are just the amount of trucks made at one of the three plants. I know where theres a 70, really rough and the owner wants 10G for it. Im not sure of the export trucks were included in the number of trucks made. I also heard rumor Dodge made A-100 pickups in 71 for the goverment.
