thanks, for the Birthday wishes, I was out of state and just got home. long story short,I used my RV to tow my K5 Blazer on vacation so the wife and kids could enjoy driving down the beach with the top down. Unfortunately, my son went to move the Blazer the second day we were there, and caught the carb. on fire. My younger son came running to get me and when I turned the corner all I saw was the hood open and flames. I tried to put out the fire with my shirt and got 2nd degree burns. Finally I had to use a fire extinguisher to put it out. I really didn't want to do that because I knew that would cause more damage but I had no choice. On the bright side, It gives me an excuse to put in a different motor with more Horsepower. My hands are almost healed now and I already have a line on a couple motors. While looking, I found a guy with a 250 with dual webber carbs that he has done some work to. He said he has it Dynoed at over 300 HP so I am thinking maybe a motor swap in the van as well. Everything happens for a reason.

Sorry to hear that and glad you're ok. Now you have an excuse to upgrade. Could have been much worse. You can start calling your son Sparky... lol!

Definitely could have been much worse. I am just glad I was there. Hopefully by the end of the year, both the van and Blazer will have new motors
