    1967 Dodge A100
    cylinders: 8 cylinders
    drive: rwd
    fuel: gas
    paint color: blue
    title status: salvage
    transmission: automatic
    type: van
I'm selling my '67 Dodge van. I've owned this van for about 6 years and it was my daily driver for several of those. I hate to part with it, but I have too many vehicles clogging up my life. Runs and drives and would make a great bike hauler, hot rod, or restoration project. The paint is the original single stage paint and was a custom order color , which was Corp. Blue/Corp. White (later renamed "Petty Blue"). I've only seen one other A100 with this color paint, and it was a pickup.

It was hit in the rear corner a few years (in front of my house) and the insurance company totaled it out, giving it a salvage title. I have a place to get the corner repair panel and with a little bit of work, you can get the title cleared again. The current title is in my name and I can hand it over to you.

I have a brand new set of rubber window and door seals, the original radiator, the heater core, rear bench seat, front headliner, original gauges and dash trim, shifter, and more that comes along with the van. It also come with a wealth of weird knowledge of where to source parts and which forums can answer your questions. This van was my whole world for a while.

    The good:

-LA318 small blockV8 engine (first year of production)
    -A727 3 speed auto transmission
    -Aluminum FSR radiator
-Edelbrock 4 bbl intake and carburetor
    -Flowkooler high flow water pump
-B&M Quicksilver shifter on custom center console
-New alternator, starter, battery, solenoid, points, coil, wires, plugs, voltage regulator, etc.
-Mooneyes Gauges and foot shaped gas pedal
-Cragar-style Eagle Racing aluminum wheels with white letter radials

    The issues:

    -Rear corner damage
-The transmission has been leaking. It's most likely a dried seal and fluid backflow from sitting too long.
-A few electrical bugs, none of which affect the driving or charging system
-Needs the proper fuel sending unit (included) and speedo drive gear installed
    -The title thing

    I'm asking $6,000
Also willing to trade for a (1970-1973) Dodge Challenger, a Dart Demon 340, a Porsche 911, a pre-1970 Harley Davidson or Indian motorcycle, or a unicorn.

    Thanks for looking!

    Anyone ever de-salvage a car?

Any sources for a replacement corner?

    More curious than anything

Once title is salvaged... you cannot reverse it. The only problem with a salvaged vehicle
is the fact you cannot insure it for full coverage... due to possible previous serious damage.

I had a 73 Ghia that was a salvaged title... it only had a small 8" dent in the front... but it had been salvaged? I drove it daily for 17 years. I had no problems selling it however!! bounce

I am worried NY maybe a little different but as long as you can get basic coverage then that wouldnt be a big deal until time of sale.
