Hi all, been a long time since I was on here but I just picked up a 1969 Chevy 108 van with a 307 and 3 on the tree, the tie rod link is bent pretty bad and needs to be replaced does anyone know where to get these?? This is the link that goes from one tie rod to the other.

someone could of missed the axle when they used a floor jack on the van and bent it,,,but its just a pipe,,,,,,take it off and straighten it up as best as you can,,,,,,its not very tough,,,,drive over it or use a pipe bender,,,,,and it dont have to be very straight as long as you can still get the tie rod ends to reach the proper toe in setting......

its just a threaded tube. if unable to straighten, buy a threaded tube of same size. summit and speedway both have them.

Thanks for the reply, I did just that today, took if off and took the rosebud to it, much easier than I thought and after cleaning the threads and painting it looks like new.

Yeah, mine's a little bent up too from years of owner's hitting things....my shop was able to set the front end to specs, seams like a typical "condition" with these vans....
