Re: New Movie Van Sighting
This movie, "The Shape of Water" has been out for a couple weeks. Anyone seen it yet? I'm curious to see how big a part the van plays. I think they rescue the creature from the lab with it.

Re: New Movie Van Sighting
Ok so I saw the movie today. The van was in the movie as much as I had hoped. There's a quick shot of it early on and then they did use it to rescue the creature from the laboratory. The movie was set in 1962. The van had the right rear bumper/license plate configuration, but the mirrors on the van were after market small round door edge clip-ons which I bet were not around back then.
The van was set up as an "Early Worker", had a Laundry business painted on the side. Good shots of the van all around and some of the inside. As they were getting away from the lab...they were being shot at and bullets ripped through the rear doors and out the front window.
Movie over-all was ok. Set in the early 60's there was a lot of cool old stuff. The scene where the bad guy goes to a Cadillac show room and buys a new car was awesome, they set that scene up pretty well. Other than that and the van, mostly just a girl loves fish movie.
