I wanted to add a new stereo with a back up camera CD player and Bluetooth capability, but I couldn't go through with cutting into my dash. I have yet to do this mod to my original am radio but thought it was a good read and worth posting: http://www.instructables.com/id/Adding-Auxiliary-Input-for-an-mp3-player-to-an-O/?amp_page=true

Even better: Switch to the "Retro Sound" vintage radio...has everything. Available from "Tom's Bronco Parts" and others....No cutting, no extra holes.

Re: Adding MP3 input to am radio
He's not talking about cutting the dash. He is talking about modding the stock original radio to accept an MP3 player such as your iPhone or iPod. Such a neat idea!

Re: Adding MP3 input to am radio
No dash cutting, and it looks almost identical to the original Econo radio...just better.
