by nwguy Fri Apr 28, 2017 1:15 pmI tested the blower in a replacement heater I got for my 61 pickup. Used jumper cables to connect it to a battery. The fan worked on the "high" setting, but not the "low". I'm guessing the problem is the blower switch. Haven't found a direct replacement on the web. Anyone know of one? Or might it be possible to fix the switch?
The blower squeals a bit when it runs too. I haven't taken the heater apart yet to find points to oil, but seems like oil in the right spots would fix that, right?
