Chevy Van by Sammy Johns, I was a senior in HS and had a 69 pontiac firebird at the time but when that song came out I definately wanted a chevy van but somehow I think I would have banned from my girlfriend house, street, neighborhood.

wooden shjips, “space-rock stomp” is how they describe it. it’s got a beat to it.

Oh yea, don't forget Corky Siegle, "I'm half asleep at the wheel, but I'm only half a day away". Corky was half of the Siegle Shwalls band. He plays a boogie woogie piano and the harmonica. Good stuff if you can find it.

I like it all from gospel to rock and roll. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone only preferred one type of music?

Re: Crusin' tunes!!
My alltime favorite song for cruisin is Radar Love by Golden Earring. Something about it just gets me in the mood for a nice long drive... I like a variety of genres, depending on the mood. Springsteen's my favorite. John Fogerty (CCR days and now) for that southern sound. Barenaked Ladies music is great too! Sometimes if I know I'm going on a trip, I will create 2 or 3 CD's with different themes by all different artist's like blues, rock or country to make the ride enjoyable.
