The 225 in my '67 is going to need to be replaced within the year. The block has already been bored .080 over and it needs a couple of valve guides replaced in the head.
I have done some research and have found a couple of places where I can get a reconditioned 225 for around $1500, but that is a bit out of the price range and I'm not sold on anything that I've found.
I like the six, and don't want to swap it for an eight.
Any advice on how I should move forward?
