I've been putting some tunes in the 65 and ran into a small problem today. The end of the antenna wire that plugs into the radio is broken off. So far I haven't been able to find a new end to put back on the wire. Have already checked with Radio Shack ,Advance Auto, WalMart, Best Buy,and a local car audio store. Has anyone got any other ideas where to look? I know Radio Shack use to have them but not any more.

Re: Radio Antenna
Well if you mean the male part that goes on the end of the cable that comes from the antenna,,,,,,,,all shops should sell the extension adapter that has the both ends on it,,,,,,,an extension of sorts,,,,,,and you can cut it or un solder it as necessary,,,,,,,

Re: Radio Antenna
Thanks Don. I've still got another place to check. I might have to do something like you suggested. Everywhere I checked today they said that type of end was oldschool but the radio is only a couple of years old and still has that type of connection for the antenna.

Re: Radio Antenna
Well Mike, you could just stick a nail in there and have Cindy touch it,,,,,,,,,that would get the tunes working,,,,,,

Re: Radio Antenna
Thanks Kowboy for the offer, but I've still got a few local places to check. If I don't have any luck I might have to take you up on that. I've still got two more Radio Shacks to check and another car audio store.
Don if Kowboy gets me one of the ends would you mind running it by???????

Re: Radio Antenna
Got that project finished today!!!!!!!!! Rather than make a trip to town I robbed the end off of an old antenna that I had here. Still going to check out the other places for that part and get more than one if I find them.
Hey Don, went crusing this afternoon. It's Doo Wop Days in the big city of LaCenter. How long do you think that took??????????

Re: Radio Antenna
Here's another source. Their prices are pretty good and the radio's look great!
