Before some of the other guys chime in, it looks like you are new to the E-World! Welcome! I joined back in march and I was pointed here: http://www.vintage-vans.com/ford_parts_links.html early on. There is lots of great info there, spend some time just reading and you'll find answers to questions you didn't know you had! classicinlines.com is a pretty good engine resource as well. Google is your friend!
The answer to your question as always is: it depends. Which engine do you have? As I learned, just because it's in a '66 doesn't mean its a '66!

In my short year on this sight I have found the Knowledge to be amazing. This is where I come to google E info. As to the engine straight 6/ 240/ automatic .

If its a 66, it should be ford corporate blue, including the valve covers.
