I have also found if it's engine or dodge mechanical parts there is a forum called forabodiesonly.com- those are some serious mopar heads and that has been a good engine parts resource for me. Cheers -Toby

Looking for a guy to redo a A100 engine (possibly heads), will "again", check for that in parts, or any other areas of this site. I do appreciate the help, but have been on this site since 2012 and have yet to get any find any mechanics who respond.

I will keep trying because I am NOT going to sell my van due to lack of interest from surrounding mechanics, due to it being a dodge.

God Bless and good day dix.

Hey Westcoastvanner, I do not remember his name off hand, but I did try email, text, and called to leave a message (in the past), but no return call was ever made.

I got this mopar mechanics guys number, off this site (from many members), and yet, not a followup on his part.

There was also a guy i found in Lake Elsinore (California), but though he did return my email (I also called him and left a message),  his small shop is too busy this summer as he is restoring 3 classics with a 2 man shop.

Though Dodges are awesome, So. Cal doesn't think so. If it isn't a ford or a chevy, good luck.  The best to all you vanners out there and thanks for an aweosme site. Have fun in El Cajon.

A100 van parts? Empty A100 mechanic in California

Post by westcoastvanner Tue Jul 19, 2016 4:12 pm

There is an A100 mechanic in Simi, California. There has been a post in the past that listed his name on this site, can't remember his name. Anyone out there remember the name of the Simi Valley auto shop that works on A100 vans?

Moparmaniac, the best of luck with your search. If your in So. Cal, it is hard to find such parts, much less a mechanic that will work on a "Dodge" A100 van.

This site, Vintage vans have attempted to help me find someone numerous times (for which I am grateful), but all the leads have fallen through or attempted contacts have been ignored.

Again, the best to you and all A100 vanners.
