Anybody going to GM Nationals 16-19 June 2016?

Have been thinking of rollin up, at the last minute, and overnight camping in town. Does anybody have any experience with just overnighting in Carlisle during one of the big shows?

I don't know if the local police would roust me or not. Also, anybody here going?

Call Carlise events and ask. I think if you enter your van in the show field, you can sleep onsite where they park you, not sure about camp fires, but you can probably use a small grill. I know at Englishtown events, many of the vendors sleep overnight onsite, Carlisle might have the same policy, but again, call them. I went to the Chysler nats there a few years ago, just great, but we stayed off site at a local cheap motel. Great idea taking a van there, they will welcome you and place you with the truck class, expect over a 1000 or more vintage GM vehicles of all kinds, especially Vettes and goats, lol
