Trailer & tow bar assm.

Guess I got Lucky. about a month back- I bought a 1 wheel Montgomery wards 1 wheel trailer. Was on Craigs list locally.Paid a redicilious price of $50.00 for it! Older man locally had it since the 60's -& never used it. was stored inside. he moved here back in 1975 from california , where he was a welder. This has an origional Cali lisence plate (black one) from 1951 !!Origional tire too .As I never can get pix posted here -- heres a web site that shows a few. trailer is in a Like New condition too.

Today I purchased an origional "Bumper Type Tow Bar" from craigs for $20.00--its from the U-Haul company-complete with all attachments & chains & clamp ons for the old - steel bumpers we all used to have on our vans & cars!! Still has the u-haul orange paint & lettering on it too!! Havent seen one of these in years.

Wow, never seen one. Are those things still road legal? Pretty cool

yeah i'd say so the van club i belong to hauls one to every event we go to
if you brake down and have a steel bumper we would tow the member back

Good find. Single wheel trailers are pretty cool for light duty use. You still see them a lot in the motorcycle community.

Thanx guys!= The seller never used the trailer-had stored all the years. He was moving from my area to az. & going to have a garage sale. He had some welders -I also bought an old early 6-'s ="westinghouse" A/c rig - variable amps to 250-stick type. looked brand new!! He had a set of Slicks (drag tires) from the 60's also -got that pair for 10 bux!! even had whitewalls on inside!!Appear almost new! I see todays news there are 10,000 baby boomers retiring =EACH DAY!! so watch the sales- us old guys have stuff stashed away since the WW-2 era ended!! And =None if IT is = PLASTIC!!
