So I was at the shop working on my truck and this guy i have known for maybe a month shows up and we bs about everything under the sun and he sees my redone seats for my dodge. To make a long story short he tells me he has a ford econoline pickup he wants to get rid of for 150 dollars. Body work is not an issue for me so what else must i look for that could be a huge issue? Going to look at this machine on Sunday. Thanks
What to loock for in a 63 Econo pickup

Have the $$ in hand, for 150 you can't go wrong! Look for structural rust at suspension mounting points, etc. Remember that you can get patch panels for the lower rear half of the PU (new).

I figure for 150 i can get little parts off it and give them to a guy that is working on a econoline up the street from me. But we were restoring an el camino at the shop and he says that it isnt as bad as that and we had that thing done in 2 weeks. so i cant wait to see it on sunday.
