Lemay Auto Museum - Tacoma, Wa

Thought I'd put this out there for all us Motorheads, Car Freaks. If you have a chance GO to the Lemay Auto museum in Tacoma, Wa You will spend hours.

This place is fantastic & the story of Harold Lemay is pretty cool. Harold had a trash hauling business, told his guys to look for old cars. He eventually collected over 3000 cars, all makes & models. He bought an old dairy with the barns, cars bumper to bumper, door handle to door handle. Acres of chrome!!

The cream have been put in the museum.

Forgot I was going to suggest a Vintage Van run to the museum. I might have mine up & running by then.

Last year My Daughter via a school trip - went to this muesuem!1 She told me -I must go & see it!!

It is well worth the trip. I've been out to the dairy farm , also to the convent that he bought. The family open these up once a year, sometime in the fall. The museum is GREAT, but I kind of like seeing the cars & stuff before it's been restored. All states of dis-repair
