    Supervan wanted Empty Supervan wanted

    Post by Tice84 Thu Mar 03, 2016 1:51 pm

Hi guys, as some of you might know, me and my girlfriend will travel to the US in May.
We are looking for a Supervan to buy, put a matrass in it and travel the West for some time.

So if anyone has a Supervan and is thinking of selling it, please let me know. Preferably with minimal rust and running. I don't mind if it needs some repairs to make it roadworthy. We want it to be a camper, so we like to have (at least) windows in the side doors and rear doors, but windows all around is great and a display van would be very nice.

If you have a van or know of a van that's for sale, please send me a PM!

    Thanks

What I do have against them is that it is no Ford, hahaha.
Just joking. I like them as well, but the side doors of the Supervan are placed more to the front, which gives you more effective space to the wall behind it. But apart from that, I think these are very cool. It would be my second choice, if I couldn't find a Supervan....

I think there are more 108" wheelbase Chevys/GMC out there than SuperVans,,,,but it all depends on what you want in a van,,,,,,,besides,,,,,,,the song is "see the USA, in your Chevrolet",,,,,,,,

Haha, I looked up the song on youtube. Funny how Dinah Shore has her own Chevy show.

I'll be looking for a Supervan for now, and I haven't found one and time gets short I'll start looking for a Chevy too.

Ironically Supervans were coming up all the time until you started looking for one Rolling Eyes

Seriously though, they come up quite a bit, and generally cheaper. Just not recently Wink

I've got a turn key driver 68 2nd gen Supervan ex fire dept van no rust in Cincinnati,Ohio 29000 original miles. I'd drive it anywhere. Its an E300 too so it can haul anything you throw at it. Its in great mechanical shape with new tires, fresh oil change, it's ready. I can email you pics if you like. It's even got a hicth for small trailer. I had it in Canada 2 years ago and drove it to several events last year including the Nationals in Illinois. I'd drive it anywhere. 302,3 speed, has had tons of engine work recently, new everything including master cylinder.

Tim, is that the one I saw on van-list? I've been drooling over that one since it was first listed. If I had the means, it would have been sold. You won't find a better looking example of a 2nd Gen Ford!

Hi Tim, thanks for your offer. Sounds like a great van. But actually I have found exactly the van I have been searching for, so my search is complete.
