by Vanner63 Mon Feb 01, 2016 6:58 pmThis is my daily driver. A 1976 E-150 Custom. Purchased it in 2011 from the original owner with 93,000 original miles. It now has 168,000 miles. Everything is original except the timing chain and gears and distributor. It is a panel but has rear air and had the roof rack. The rear windows are tinted from the factory and it has a Chateau grille and dash from the factory as well as captains chairs. It would seem that it has all the options of the Cruising Van except it is a long wheelbase and I thought they only built them in short wheelbase form. I've tried to see if the VIN numbers on the Cruising Vans were specific to those models. If anyone knows anything about them I sure could use some help. I'm getting ready to pull it off the road this summer and restore it.
