by dougtappan Sat Oct 10, 2015 11:52 amIt was brought to my attention by M1 that I had two secondary shoes on one side of the front brakes so I did some digging in the manual to fix my mistake only to find the manual doesn't distinguish between L and R. When you put the back brakes together It appears the PRIMARY shoe is the REAR shoe cause there is only one way for the E brake cables to connect.so on all four corners the PRIMARY shoe is the REAR shoe.Could someone please correct me if I am wrong?

the primary shoes go towards the front of the van,,,and they have the shorter amount of lining on them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the fronts are 2 1/2" wide while the rears are only 2" wide,,,,,,,so the question is,,,,,,is that what you got,

Thats what we are here for,,,,,keep these vans going,,,,,,,a guy can easily put those shoes on 8 different ways,,,,,,,,,this is the Left Rear,,,,,,,,a 2" wide shoe,,,,,the shorter lining on the side closest to the front bumper,,,,
