Re: looking for Fred the upholsterer
I think he is still splitting his week between his RI location and his Maine location. If memory serves, he's in RI early in the week and that's his RI phone Duane gave you.

He's supposed to have that number forwarded to his cell. He can be hard to get ahold of. Late at night usually works best. He answers PM's on here pretty quick for me.

Re: looking for Fred the upholsterer
Fred did some work for me several years ago. Very good I might ad. Great guy. However his life situation seems to have changed and my last several attempts to contact him came up empty. He hasn't been on here in over a year and hasn't posted here for almost two years.

Re: looking for Fred the upholsterer
I got in touch with him via phone. I just don't like calling someone about business after their business hours. Having had my own business for years, at the end of the day, you need to have your own time.
Anyway, he's doing well. Busy with business and family. Nice guy.
Seems he's had a problem logging on here and it turned into somewhat of a hassle for him to try and get on. Doesn't seem right as my impression was that this was a small and tight community by internet forum standards.
