Okay guys , its been a while and now I am back .
Today after riding van for a short trip . I got back in her and she won't start . all electronics work fine but as I turn the key to the start position . nothing , not even a click .
So I am thinking I will need a new switch . after doing a search for the switch . I came up with nothing . well almost nothing . I can only find the inside part ( one with keys ) but I would like to replace the whole thing . and even the but .
If you know where to get this part for a 65 g10 . I would be grateful.

When the van gets hot its pretty common for the starter to not operate,,,,,,,,,because of the wiring,,,,,,,check that connector next to the carburetor to see that it is tight,,,,,,,take a screwdriver and short across the battery and S terminals on the starter solenoid to bypass the wiring and see if the starter cranks,,,,,,,

get a 12volt test light and check and make sure you're getting power to the switch. If that checks out then check and make sure the purple wire is sending power to the starter when you twist the key.
