door seals....wtf?

how do you install them? ive scoured the internet and cant find a how to anywhere....and of course....they dont have directions with them. help!

Ok - here you go- get some 3m product comes in yellow or Black-- yellow is # 8001 -just ask on black- auto parts stores have it =NAPA!-- now its glue in a tube!- the seal area on doors should be coated(lightly!!) and the actual seal area =same- I use a small brush to do that too. when the dtuff dries & is "Tacky" - install! might be of some help also to use some tale to secure the seal till dry! Work in small areas only! do NOT!! streach the seal!! do a trial fit before glueing it too- see how the seal fits the door!- orfor ease of mind!! take it to a body shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I've got the glue part down....I just don't get how they go on.

What do you mean by how they go on? They go on the flat lip on the door. I haven't replaced mine, but I've read on here they can be too long somehow, so you def want to check the fit for any trimming needed beforehand.

I've got them fugured out now.

all it took = was a couple of BEERS!!

2 sides of the seal form a right angle(90 degrees) Those 2 sides get glued to the door, pretty simple actually. When installed, there's a flap that sticks out at a 45 degree angle from the inner right angle section glued to the door. I have no idea why they don't include instructions. I asked them to several times.
