    Defroster vents Empty Defroster vents

    Post by K-Noods68 Fri Apr 24, 2015 2:53 am

What is a fair price for a pair of defroster vents in ok condition?

I know a guy that has a pair that told me to make an offer, as he doesn't know how much they go for, and I don't want to overpay or rip the guy off.

    Thanks in advance!

These parts for Early Van's are getting "Very" hard to find I look every day..!!!..A part is worth what some one is willing to pay if I needed a set and they were mint I would pay $20-25 each rather than trying to make something else fit and save the aggervation to someone else they might pay $5-15 each how bad do you need them??.. I will tell you they don't come up often for sale..!!!... Smile ..

If they are for a 2nd Gen and in good shape, I would think $50-75 a pair is still fair, the going rate for 1st gens has been around $30 or more a pair. I said this to Joe Van before, it all works out in the end, sometimes you overpay for something and other times you steal something. If you buy enough parts for you van or any other hobby/collectibles, this will be the case, so don't worry about it and grab them!

It's not like your going to turn around and sell them. I'd offer $30 for the pair and let him talk you up to $40. What he has are rare, but how many people are knocking down his door to get them?
