Can anyone tell me how the armrest (on a 1969 A100) screws attach to the front door body? Does anyone have a photos that show how they are mounted? I have the screws but the holes that they go into are hide, is there a metal plate that the screws thread into?

westcoast vanner, the arm rest on a 69 actually bolt to the fiber door panel,
and then that panel screws to the door.

That's what I thought, I was a little wary thinking that pulling on the arm rest that is attached to the upper door panel might crack the panel. Thanks for the info.
