G10 Van Estimated Value
Thanks for responding. It does not look that bad but I will take some photos and respond to you for your opinion since there are rusted areas. I appreciate your assistance.

Re: G10 Van Estimated Value
,,,,and the vans came in 3 flavors,,,,,,panels, no doors and SportVans,,,,,,usually, if you have to repair rust and get a paint job, you will never get your money back,,,,,,,and if you have to ship it somewhere thats more added cost to a buyer,,,,,,,but we are here to keep the vans going and showing what we have and helping with parts and repairs,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Re: G10 Van Estimated Value
Has potential, but looks pretty trashed by rust and years of neglect. Since I cannot see what is really going on, I can only assume the worst, and other potential buyers will also. Out here in the West we usually consider a van with rockers like that pretty much a parts van unfortunately. Not worth much in that condition, sorry to say.
Your best bet is put it up on eBay with tons of pictures showing all the rust damage in detail. Start it at no reserve, start at .99, then it will sell and then you'll know exactly what its worth!
If you want more money for it, make it run and drive.. at a minimum, wash it and air up the tires, try to make it look like you care?
Poor van.
Based on the pics, in as-pictured condition, I'd say $600-800 if you have a clear title. No title = scrap value by weight.
You might get a little more on eBay, but only if it were running and drivable

Re: G10 Van Estimated Value
Anything is repairable but imo that is way to much to tackle, would be a good parts van. I'd say $400 tops.

Re: G10 Van Estimated Value
I would say advertize it as a parts van and see who would come and get it,,,,,,it would kind of be a waste to sell it to a wrecking yard,,,,,maybe convince Krispy to buy it and have him ship it back across country to him,,,,,,and if you are man enough,,,,I think the best money is to be made cutting it up and keeping the parts that someone might buy,,,,,,,thats what I do,,,,,,,

It would be painful to see any van crushed... Still have a lot of metal and parts that can be used to save other vans... It's painful to see them all cut up too but sacrifices must be made to save what we can.

Re: G10 Van Estimated Value
As-is Mo-1040 has the right idea, somewhere around $400 to a fellow vanner.
Otherwise scrap value is about $150 or so... I had to put away my rig as there was no space to store the hulk. It was at my buddies place long enough as is.
