    Oily as a sumbitch. Got it out though.

    Possibly the original spark plugs?? only 41k on the clock
    Also any one know why it would be this blue color??? I'm 99% sure this motor is stock and untouched since I've put my paws on it.

    Pretty solid under here. All parts that come off from under the van will be powder coated.

    A little bit at a time. I pulled the front and rear out the other night. Also had the starter and alt rebuilt as well, They came out great.

    Thanks Vanny…. I've gutted the van about 98% of the way so far, bagged n tagged evrything. my next step in the restoration is to hopefully either find a cheap rotisserie and or build a jig something like this….

    Yes all the original '65 230's I have researched are blue.
    There is a 1996 truck article I found that discusses it - his research supports the blue motor

    If i get a chance to spend 10 mins in the garage ill take it and try to remove what i can on my van. The second picture is the inside of the passenger door.
