Almost anything with the 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern, What you do have to watch for is the backspacing, gotta keep enough distance to turn and clear all the suspension.

    Phillip,
Like Digz said Just about anything with a chevy bolt pattern. 14's or 15's will work. Just picked up some Iroc/ Z28 mags for $50. Just because I couldn't pass them up for that price. Good to have some cool spares!!!!

Do a search on eBay for Chevy 5x 3/4 wheels, you'll get pages and pages... Just becareful on eBay. I got burned on some slotted mags (2 were warped)...

I put 15" American Racing. I think they are 7.5". No back spacing.

    Here's a pic:

The rubber I fit on is pretty much as big as you can fit before you have to chop the fenders.

    Backs are 275 60 R15
Fronts maxed out with like a mm to spare on turn radius are 255 60 R15s

I'm not sure how much you meant by not much. But when you mentioned slots, these are what I'm seriously considering.15x7,5 on 4 3/4,& $129 ea.I love old school Halibrads, outta my range though.

So, what's the max back spacing for 1st Gen's? Also, while I'm on a sort of related topic...1st and 2nd Gen wheels should be the same size and have the same clearance specs, right?

Sorry for the questions...just trying to start learning a little about the van I'm about to bring home....

3 and 3/4" is quite common on say a 15x7 aftermarket wheel and would be quite a good fit on the front of a 1st gen, the rims I just got are 4" backspaceand I might have to change the bump stops so the tires dont rub on the suspension ,but Im not sure of that yet. On the rear I wouldn't be suprised if you get get away with an 8'backspace but dont quote me on that . scratch . you can go the otherway to far also, to little like a deep dish with 2and 3/8" backspace on a 15x7, this throws your turning radius into the sheet metal on the front of the wheel arch. I dont know if this helped much but its the stuff you have watch out for. the back space on the 15x10s for the rear is also 4" and thats no problem. I think the biggest factor is overall tire diameter, seems like a alot of stock 14 inch tires run about 26-27"s OD , to keep that diameter in a 15" tire you almost have to run a 60 series, but each manufactorer is a little different it seems.
