This site is for the hoodless but that's why they have the Early enough section for those of us who also appreciate these other vans that are early but also happen to have a hood. I've got a soft spot in my heart for all vans myself! But the Early Hoodless are still my favorite!!!

yes my first ride in a hoodless was in 1973 it burned a gallon of oil every 100 miles

My buddy had a '72 Dodge tradesman with the slant six around '74-5 and it was just as cool as an early at that time, no one frowned upon it, it was considered an improvement at the time! And man did it hold a lot of band gear!

Vans with a hood are old vans, not vintage vans,,,,,they killed our Earlys,,,,,,so this site is for the preservation of the originals,,,,the Earlys,,,,,the Vintage Vans,,,,,,,but if someone wants to post about them,,,,,,they can put it the Early Enough Section,,,,,away from our good stuff.......
