All of my door locks have stopped working. Are there common replacement parts or should I take them to a locksmith?

A-100 door locks are the same as what was used on the other Dodge trucks of the same era.

The newer style locks (flush mount) that you can buy at the part stores will not work. I tried.

Take them to a locksmith..that's what I had to do.

Did they ever work? Otherwise it would seem that the key wore out rather than all the door lock cylinders at 1 time. If you take one cylinder out, there might be a key code stamped on it so a locksmith can make a new key for it. And could it be the linkage or locks froze up and not the key cylinders?

chrysler parts has a product called "dri slide". it works very well to free up door locks if they are stuck. unless the local locksmiths have new tumblers to install i don't think they will be able to do much for you either. i do door locks at work by times and the small brass tumblers do wear out. if they are worn beyond there limit by times the locksmits leave them out.you might try to remove every second one or them all. that way any key would open the doors but only you would know.
