Dave Addis 1962-2014

My fellow vanner and Buddy, Dave, retired and flew up to Washington to buy a home near his parents. His Dad calls me to help him and Daves brother pack up Daves things and Van when they fly back down to San Diego because Dave had passed away from a heart attack while he was up there,,,,,,,that was one of the worst trips I had to make in my van,,,,,,and we lose another vanner...........

Sure sorry to Hear this about Dave !!!!! I remember You guys doing Power windows .. and power Steering ..... and the new paint on his Van ..... Dave addis R.I.P. ....... OUR Vanning Brother ....

This is unfortunate. I was really looking forward to meeting him up here in WA. I'm very sorry and my heart goes out to his family.

Dave was one of the 1st VCVC guys,,,,,,,,he spent most of his time on ships out at sea in the Navy and on research ships,,,,but when he did come home we were out cruising and working on his van......One year we got to race our vans on the Del Mar racetrack......
