    Hi!

    For you guys that has made gullwings doors on your vans what kind of hinges do you use?
    Are you building them from scratch or how do you do?

     Here is an old post that has some information from Joe Van. He used a piano style hinge that he picked up from a marina that has lasted 20 years with no problems. I think the piano style hinge probably gives the strongest even support.

    Or you could try Duck tape and a garage door opener like this guy!!!
