    im replacing the valve cover gasket, it was leaking and when i took the cover to make it nice... the gasket broke in pieces...
    im looking to buy one but whats the material that i should use..
    cork or rubber.....

    I like Fel-Pro rubber gaskets myself, with a light coat of RTV blue on them. They seem to take the heat/cool better, at least they do on my Rangers 2.9

    Havn't used cork in years, alway had good luck with the Fel-Pro also

    ATV sucks IMHO!
    Likes to clog stuff up inside. Not good.
    Cork, rubber are both good. Permatex on valve cover side and that's it.
