OK, so I find a 63 E-van, I email the guy for some pics and he sends me 2. So the body doesnt look to bad and it has some REALLY FUGLY windows cut in on the drivers side, and some others in the back quaters. So I email the guy and ask what the minor engine work that it needs is and if its a runner/driver, and would it make the drive to socal. (I figured if it would, I would ride the bike up there, load it in the back, and drive her home). Also ask what kinda price he was lookin for. These all seemed to be simple enough questions.....right. So he emails me back with.......

"I still have it needs minor carburetor work and if you are serious buyer make an offer. If not please don't waste my time. I don't need the money . If I sell it fine if not its ok too."

So I re-asked the unanswered ??'s and stated that without these answered I cannot make a proper offer. So if its a runner/driver, here are the pics he sent me, what do you think its worth? I figure its worth $700 or so because of the work needed to fix the window issues, would I be out of line with that offer.

Was kinda puttin me off too, but he said he didnt need the money. Maybe he's stupid and will take $300 for it!

That no door looks to be a deal, even if you had to ship it. Don't see many Ford no doors

I would forget the 63, here on the east coast that might be a steal but not on the west coast.

I'm lovin that no door and a 351 cleveland too.It would already be in my driveway if I lived out there.

Not bad........but my hearts kinda set on an E-van right now, although my wife would rather a chevy.

Kowboy,you've got a few good options there in front of you.
Like the others before said,the guy with all the windows was kinda wishy-washy.I'd walk away.That no-door looks like a...scuff,shoot,and buff,add some bumpers,polish some wheels,and drive it.It reads like he's wanting it gone.
Don't know what you can put in for inital spending,but 'the more body work it needs,the more time & money it will be.'
The 2 for 1 ain't bad neither,but theres hole pluggin issues there also.

I agree, and trust me.........I'm all over the no door tomorrow. If he still has it, its gunna have a new home REAL soon. Its exactly what I'm lookin for. Hope it has a 9" with that 351 in it. Wonder if I will be able to get the front wheels off the ground!
