I was wondering if there is a spray paint that comes close to the white used on the bumpers?
Is it just plain old white? Gloss?
Same question goes for the rims?
    Thanks

I'm not sure what was used on the bumpers and rims but I believe that the white color on the Econo's body was called Wimbledon White. Ultimately, it will come down to what you think will look best as everyone's tastes are their own. I'm sure others with more detailed knowledge will jump in and let you know.

I've never paid that close attention to the Econos I have with original paint on the bumpers. I assume they are Corinthian White for the 1961-1963 and Wimbledon White for 1964-1967. Those were the popular fleet van colors because they were off-white and didn't show dirt like Pure White does.

This is what I have found. My '66 epup is coded as Pure/milk white. I assume the bumpers would be painted the same white as body, if not chrome. Peformance white is another popular ford color.

Good luck, Not all whites are created equal:) In general, you have warm whites and cool whites.

If you have a warm colored van-red yellow orange, use a warmer white that looks like someone dropped a bit of red paint in the white. -wimbledon

If your van is Blue, green, or cool colored, use a white that looks like someone dropped a bit of blue in it. A cool white.-Milk white

It's subtle, but if you cross them up it looks off. Pure white is safest in the middle. Amazon has small test cans of all those colors. They look different in person, the screens through it off but you can get a general idea.

That is a graphic designers opinion, not a ford spec!!!Smile-Have fun!!

But the Wimbledon white has a built in patina in my opinion, it may look better with some original paint jobs.

I finally painted the rims and bumpers. Just used "dover white" Krylon.
I just went with the 14" rims since they came with the van. I found 3 13" rims but need another and 13" tires to go with them.
Does anybody have any recommendations for 13"tires that aren't too expensive but look good and perform well?
Now if I could only find a set of side mirrors...

That Looks Great! the white makes those Ford caps "pop"! Careful what you wish for, at least those mirrors give you a nice view of what's behind you...
