Any members here running side pipes? I have a set of these thrush outsiders that I want to install on my van, I have a 318 with stock manifolds. Does anyone have a picture or can tell me how they've routed the pipe from the manifold to the side pipes.

Re: Thrush outsiders side pipes
Mine are currently hard piped to the stock manifolds. I think it probably causes a little bit of vibration roaring down the road but cant swear to it. When I rework the engine Ill look into the stainless steel flex connectors so there's a little wiggle room for the engine.
just make sure you stay out of the front wheel well with the 90 or your front tires might scrub.

Slowflapper how did you route the hard pipe? I'm thinking about the steel flex common on most car, but in mock up it looks like ill have to go between the leaf spring and frame.
