Corvan Gods VERY upset !!

So I goes to this Garage sale yesterday and am looking around and dig thru a box of old vinyl (records) or as kids call'em "Big Cd's" and am stoked to pull out some early kinks, doors and a red transparent Rolling Stones album from 1971, the name of it is un PC and I cannot mention it here, anyway, I am looking around and the lady asks me if I am looking for anything in particular, I asked her if she had any old bicycles or motorcycles, "Yeah, we have a couple in the backyard" she said, I followed her back there to see a couple pieces of crap bicycles...BUT there was also a corvair pickup back there, I asked what about that?? as I pointed to the poor thing sitting there in the weeds with it's tail between its leggs, "Yeah, thats gotta go too" she said, :-)....ok, what do you want for it?? I asked her as I walked over to it, this thing had big ol fat NICE chrome bumpers on it and it was a rampside to boot!! "How bout 50 bucks, its been there since 1978" she said, OK!!! I will come and pick it up monday or tuesday, I told her, cool! I call her tonight to arange a time tomorrow and she told me some guy came by and gave her 50 bucks and is taking the thing TO THE SCRAPER!!! AAARRRGGGGHHH!!! had a nice seat, dash, steering wheel, ect. ect. ect.

The nerve of her! Maybe you should have offered her more than a scrapper would have, or had a tow truck come immediately! But she made a deal with you!!!

she offered it to me for 50.oo, I am at ease now though, I checked on Craigslist sf bay erea "corvair truck" and there it was!! hopefully somebody buys it before the guy DOES take it to the scraper, that would just be a sin!! maybe somebody HERE will pick it up?? !! its a 61 RAMPSIDE for peets sake!!
