Re: ebay Ventshades??
Still haven't figured out why these are such a hot item all of a sudden. Is it a case of 'Can't get it ,so now I want it'?

Re: ebay Ventshades??
The part I don't get is that these weren't that hot back in the day- in fact, most people removed them if they were installed. They weren't 'cool'.
I get what the function is, but I just don't quite understand the demand for what was considered an 'old man' accessory. Porthole windows, sidepipes, flares, vintage mags- those are in demand for people looking to build a 'period correct' custom. But ventshades? That make's sense if they are building a clone of their dad's camper. Otherwise, they just weren't that popular back in the vanning days.

Re: ebay Ventshades??
Don't get me wrong, if someone likes them and wants them on their van, that's fine- I just don't see enough demand to justify the price.

Re: ebay Ventshades??
I had vent shades years ago. Sure did like the fact that you could get ventilation and keep the rain off.
