Has anyone stuffed the Clifford twin Weber into the dog house? I know it doesn't fit.

They just shipped my two barrel setup today. Mark told me I needed to raise? beat 1/2 inch more clearance in the dog house lid.

If you really wanted to get creative you could put spacer blocks between the frame and cross member and an adapter in the trans mount to drop the drive line for clearance. That's more work, but it will eliminate the lump in the cover. When I did my last V8 install, I moved the engine back 6 inches and down 3 but I had a custom dog house.

Is there a way to raise the dog house from the bottom? 1' spacer? lift it up just enough....?

If I truly only needed .5" vertical, I would be tempted to shim it up from the bottom. It sounds like I will need 3" toward the passenger seat.

Personally I would re-think my air filter setup for clearance.

Clifford said the air filters they come with sit down over the carb. As low as it gets. Cold air intake would be taller.

I'm sorry, I think I misunderstood the original question. You need side clearance under the passenger seat. My bad! I have the Clifford 1x4 intake and I have the same issues. I have a few ideas but I haven't decided which way to go yet. It's going to be a very tight fit.
